Meet Katie

When Katie Hinojos’ naval career concluded in 2016, she decided to join the real estate industry. Her honesty, integrity, and passion allowed her to quickly find success in her new profession. Katie obtains the latest information about the local market, real estate trends, and growing wealth through property, so she can fulfill her mission of helping American heroes find financial freedom through real estate. She and her husband, Eric, combined for $31.2 million in sales in 2021, earned the Top Sales Agent distinction for five consecutive years, and were featured as Top Producers in the November 2021 issues of Jacksonville Real Producers magazine. “We love working together,” Katie says. “Our strengths complement each other very well, and we’re always brainstorming new ways to help serve our clients.”

 

Katie received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Penn State before joining the Navy, where she would serve others as well as her country. While in the service, she learned how to navigate systems and work as part of a team, and now, these skills allow her to successfully guide people through the real estate process. The determination and strong work ethic Katie demonstrated at sea is now brought to the negotiating table to ensure her clients reach their property goals. 

 

Katie’s interest in real estate began through her desire to invest. To truly understand the ins and outs of the property market, Katie decided to learn from the ground up by getting her real estate license. It was natural for her to start helping her brothers and sisters in uniform, so she started educating herself about VA loans and other ways to help veterans and active-duty military personnel achieve homeownership. She strives to be a source of wisdom for her clients and makes sure they know the pros and cons of owning a home. 

 

Katie enjoys raising her two children with her husband, taking evening walks as a family, and cooking big meals together. In her free time, she volunteers with the kids ministry at church. Katie also loves to read, meet new people, and hunt for bargains.
